Privacy Policy

MatchPilots ("we", "us") helps job seekers compare a resume against a job posting. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. Because resumes contain personal information, we keep data handling deliberately minimal.

Information we collect

• Account information — your email address and authentication identifiers, so you can sign in and keep your plan.
• The content you submit — the resume and job-posting text, files, or images you provide for an analysis.
• Saved analyses (optional) — if you choose to save a result to your account, we store the analysis report only. We do not store the resume or job posting it was based on. Saved reports stay on your account until you delete them or close your account.
• Usage data — how many analyses you run and when, used to enforce your plan's limits and to keep the service healthy.
• Subscription status — your current plan and renewal state, provided by Apple/Google and our billing processor. We never receive your full payment card details.

How we use your information

• To generate your match analysis and return it to you.
• To operate accounts, enforce plan limits, and prevent abuse.
• To provide support and improve the service.

AI processing

To produce an analysis, the resume and job-posting content you submit is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, through its API. Anthropic does not use data submitted through its API to train its models. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Data retention

We do not retain the resume or job-posting content you submit beyond what is needed to generate and return your analysis. If you save an analysis, the report is kept on your account until you delete it (you can remove any saved analysis individually). Account details and usage counts are retained while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time, which removes your account data — including any saved analyses.

Your rights and account deletion

You can access, correct, or delete your information. Deleting your account (available in the app) permanently removes your account data. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. To make a request, contact us at support@matchpilots.com.

Service providers

• Anthropic — AI analysis.
• Supabase — authentication and account database.
• RevenueCat, Apple, Google — subscription billing.

Children

MatchPilots is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, authenticated access, and least-privilege data access. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
